The Skilled Doctors at Living Love Mindfulness Medicine

Mindfulness Diane

Dr. Diane Mueller

ND (reg), DAOM, LAc, Functional Medicine

My journey into the health care field was born out of my own personal health struggles. Having 20 plus years of constipation, bloating, chronic fatigue, headaches, brain fog and fibromyalgia, yet normal conventional lab work, modern medicine had no place for me. Despite all of this, I believed in my heart it was not right to feel the way I did and thus began a journey of self-discovery, into the world of holistic medicine.

I fell in love with the world of naturopathic medicine. Fueled by this love, together with a deep desire to help others and myself, I finished a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters degree in Acupuncture. Since this, I have worked to earn a second doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a certificate in qigong (mindfulness practice), a certificate in applied kinesiology and countless hours studying Functional Medicine and Lyme disease with some of the most pristine doctors around the country.

As I applied what I studied to my own life, I discovered that main physical root causes of my health struggles included multiple gastrointestinal infections, liver detoxification issues and chronic Lyme disease. On my journey, I also learned that I had a deep inability to handle stress, tendency to become overwhelmed and a difficulty letting go past hurts. It was when I began to combine all of the treatments for the body, with a new approach for working with my mind that I truly experienced amazing results. These experiences helped me to understand that in working with both the mind and the body, do we get the best healing.

My most typical patient has been to several practitioners before, often with making small gains, but without finding the true root of their issue. Common symptoms I work with are autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and digestive complaints. Through lab testing, it is not uncommon to find Lyme or other chronic infections as part of the root cause. Together we work to address both the mind and the body to help you heal from the inside out. In addition, you will receive an education that will aid you with tools to help continue wellness and prevent disease.

Dr. Diane

Mindfulness Miles

Dr. Miles Nichols

DAOM, MS, LAc, Functional Medicine

For more than a decade, Dr. Miles Nichols has devoted his free time to studying, researching, and deeply investigating health, nutrition, and mindfulness. He is a doctor of acupuncture & oriental medicine and functional medicine. Dr. Miles is a mindfulness expert devoted to an integrative medicinal approach that acknowledges the importance of addressing both the body and the mind in relation to illness and prevention.

“My father was an MD and a state senator. He helped many thousands of underprivileged people to gain access to resources. He spearheaded a piece of legislation called “Healthy Arizona Initiative” that took lottery and tobacco tax money and made it available to people who fell below the poverty line but were ineligible for welfare. I saw and was inspired my fathers immense service and impact in the world.

When I was 15 years old, my father passed on suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. This shock and my experience around his death caused me to become very curious about health and psychology. Though my father had top notch medical training from Stanford, and a Masters in Public Health from Yale, he passed on without any warning at the age of 64. He was a high-performer with a busy life. He was at the pinnacle of his career, and I know that if he had lived many more years, he could have touched hundreds of thousands if not millions more lives.

I became completely devoted at this time to learning about preventative healthcare, nutrition, and mindfulness practices as ways to cope with my loss and to make sure that I do everything I can to help myself and others to live long, healthy, happy lives. I am deeply inspired by offering treatments and educational materials that teach people to transform their lives. My primary goal when working with people is to empower clients with practical action-steps to implement with regards to nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, and mindfulness practices.”

Kelly Sheridan, MS, LAc

Kelly Sheridan is a licensed acupuncturist functional medicine practitioner. She is passionate about helping people uncover root causes for health concerns and reversing chronic illness naturally. She skillfully combines acupuncture with research-based nutrition, supplement protocols, and lifestyle strategies to help people restore health, happiness, and vitality to their lives.

Growing up, Kelly’s father was a director of cinematography. He artfully represented many diverse populations: from Native Americans to musicians to football players. With a charismatic spirit that touched everyone he met, he had a gift for making people feel like the center of his world.

When Kelly was 19, her father passed on from a struggle with an advanced brain tumor. This event was traumatic for Kelly, her family, and the larger community touched by her father; it compelled her to dive into studying Chinese and Functional Medicine so that she could do everything in her power to help others discover and alter the path of disease processes before they become pathological problems.

Kelly’s treatments focus on getting to the root of a condition and healing from that place outward; her intention is to help her clients move forward truly free from what has been holding them back in life. Kelly is particularly inspired to work with individuals who have experienced trauma and those who are committed to the process of preventing disease and reclaiming wellness in their lives. She utilized functional based acupuncture and health coaching to help those with PTSD restore their vitality.

Aaron Mello headshot

Aaron Mello, CNTP, MNT

Aaron Mello is a Master Nutrition Therapist who focuses on nutrition as it relates to men's mental health. Aaron became passionate about mental health after his own experience with bipolar disorder in his early 20s. It was only after trying countless psychiatric medications, outpatient and inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, and even electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) that Aaron discovered poor nutrition and a junk food diet were at the root of his struggles.

Aaron decided to focus on men's mental health specifically upon discovering the gender suicide gap and a lack of appropriate treatment options for men. Men make up nearly 80% of suicide deaths, yet suicide is rarely discussed as a gendered issue. At his nutrition practice MoodFood Clinic, Aaron provides Nutrition Therapy as a complementary option to conventional modalities like talk therapy and psychiatric medication.

Aaron also authors many of the posts on the Living Love blog, which delivers cutting-edge information on functional medicine and treatment options for many health conditions. He enjoys researching, writing and sharing information about optimal health with the public so that more people can live long, happy and healthy lives.

Aaron utilizes a functional approach to nutrition that helps men resolve symptoms of depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder naturally. He helps his clients improve their mood by addressing the biochemical imbalances and chronic infections that underlie their symptoms. Utilizing an evidence-based approach based on the latest scientific research, Aaron helps men fix their biochemistry so they can fix their mood.

I can't say enough positive comments about Diane. She is a wonderful and thorough practitioner! She has helped many of my friends and myself uncover hidden illnesses and provided treatment that is far more safe and efficient than some traditional methods. I am constantly trying to get my friends and family to see her. It saddens me how so few people are willing to invest in their health. If you are a person who values your health, you must see Dr. Diane ASAP! You won't be disappointed!

Kristen D.

Dr. Diane took one look at my lab results and developed a plan for me to improve my health. She is the rare functional medicine practitioner. She has been so helpful. I am very glad I went to her. I really didn't even realize I was feeling badly until I started to make changes she suggested to me. She's been wonderful!
